An anchor in my life
you are the one
as I sway and tumble
in the turbulent ocean of life
as I lose my focus and and go wayward
as the laws of karma pull me
You pull me in my anchor
and steady me with your love
As the waves of life
clash me and slash me
and tears blur my vision
and make my path unfathomable
you pull me in my anchor
and steady me with your love
As the voices of mankind
burn me with their unkindness
and burn my soul with their
rods of fire
you pull me in my anchor
and steady me with your love
When blood and kin
cannot understand me
and judge me in darkness
you pull me in my anchor
and steady me with your love
The higher being
who pushed us into
this sea of samsara
smiles on us
you my anchor
who steadys me with you love ...and makes me
sail this ocean
of life
as you pull me in ....and
steady me with your love ...
